We will call for a Gathering of Peace in Okinawa, Japan on April 3.
On April 1, 1945, the United States Marine Corps(USMC) and the United States Army landed on Okinawa. USMC reached Yomitan Area and the U.S.Army reached Kadena Area.
It was a start of a terrible land warfare between the United States of America and Japan in Okinawa. Since then, 66 years have elapsed. Last year, we experienced some undesirable happenings in this area. You may recall the incident happened at the Senkaku Island between China and Japan and the political transaction about this between the two governments. You may also recall the happening at the Korean Peninsula( the sudden attack on the island of South Korea from the North Korean Army). You may also recall the visit of the Russian President on the Northern Island. All of them did influence the political situation in Asia and created a tension in the Area.
We all know what happened. With all this in mind, on April 3 this year, we would like to hold a Gathering of Peace at Toguchi, Yomitanson Village where the USMC and U.S.Army landed a long time ago. This gathering will be for all of us to recall the miseries, mistakes and stupidity of the last war. At the same time, we would like to call for people’s attention so that we can make a better future of peace.
On April 2, one day before the Gathering, we would like to clean up the river(Hijagawa River) to purify the area.
And On April 3, we will introduce many songs, dances and speeches for peace at the stage we build facing the ocean between the rocks.
Please join us for peace.
Thank you.

Inside of each of us is the owl of knowing. It talks to us - guiding us and nurturing us. Often when we get information, it's hard to live by, but it's easy to talk about. It's living the Red Road that counts - Walk the Talk. If we really want freedom in our lives, if we really want to be happy, if we really want to have peace of mind, we must live and model peace in our lives. In this way we each can affect change where we live. May our Creator walk with you and guide you as you go.

Dear Yoshimaru and Rica
Thank you very much for your email and information about this inspiring event.
I am the woman who drove you to your hotel and to the airport when you were in Copenhagen – I was touched that included me here.
My prayer is for us all to connect through our awareness that we are the many faces of the same inner being and that through that we are connected to Earth and all living beings.
Wishing you all the best.
Best regards from
Anne Christine Hagedorn
Dear friends in Japan,
here comes my message:
Being born in a country which caused incredible suffering and pain I fully support the Gathering of Peace in Okinawa by my heart and soul. My prayer is: May the infinite divine love be lit like a sacred fire in the hearts of men and women. May it make us aware of our connectedness and may it enlighten our minds with wisdom and care. Blessings to all those who gather in Okinawa on April 3rd 2011. May your collected energy foster the evolution of a new, peaceful consciousness on Earth.
