Speech by Yoshimaru Higa in Hokkaido, north of Japan(June 6, 2010)
What is “personal prayer” or “prayer for individuals”?
My wife and I are always thinking and creating the ways of our prayers. By receiving the visions, we have to think how to conduct our own divine prayers. We are living in the nature daily and so things change according to time. When such changes take place, we do our own prayers in accordance with changes. Now, what is “prayers for individual persons”? When I do this, we can see the “past beings” or the “guardian spirits”. But I do not tell anyone about it. Why don’t I? I don’t tell anyone this because if I do so, it would rather harm people. There was a person who got to know about this from me and abandoned all his efforts to try for himself in life. He thought that his guardian spirit is so great that he himself would not have to make any effort any more. He obviously made a big mistake. It was his illusion. What I think is most important here is to let each individual realize who he/she is and what he/she can do for himself/herself first. How could one realize it? In short, it is up to the person. If he/ she does what is important for himself/herself, then he/she will be able to trust himself/herself and get a great power. As for the “guardian spirit”, it is enough to know its existence. It is enough for anyone to know that there is his/her “guardian spirit”. I repeat. What is most important is the efforts of himself/herself. It is the person who does pave his/her way for the future.
The reason of our prayers in mainland Japan, not only in Okinawa
The people in Okinawa were suffering from the shortage of water a long time ago. Before it was returned to Japan in 1972, the cut-off of the water supply was one of the biggest problems in Okinawa. There were tanks for water storage at the roofs at every house in old days. The situation got better after 1972. This is why the people of Okinawa had to resort to the “divine ceremony for water supply”. For example, there was a ceremony to pray in front of fountains. People had to take good care of the fountains in order to get this gift from nature. The fountains are the very source of water and they are very important. Water comes out of fountains after many years through rivers, mountains and forests. The “divine ceremony for water” is dedicated for the maintenance of the cycle of the nature itself.
It seems to me that the natural cycle of water coming all the way from Tibet is going berserk. It means that the balance of nature and recycle of the water is out of balance. So it does not reach all the regions any more. What do you think will happen if all the forests in mainland Japan and Okinawa die and all the trees dried out? It would lead to a disaster. No one will be able to get any fish or sea tangles. It will be so because the nutrition and nourishment coming from the forests and the rivers into the oceans will all stop. People will not be able to capture any herring, sardine or tuna any more. People will be in a big trouble.
The same is true in the case of nuclear power plants. One such plant has about 900 employees. About 5000 people are concerned with the plant including employees themselves, their families and the business dealers. So once you build one nuclear power plant, it will be very difficult to undo it once for all. And, worse still, if a criticality accident should take place, it would damage a huge area more vigorously than that happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 by atomic bombings. The whole area will be contaminated by the radioactivity from the accident. This will stay there for millions of years leaving the place as the land of death. People will die of cancer, genetic disorder and whatnot. We are making it a rule to visit all the nuclear power plants in Japan at least 3 times a year in order not let such a misery or an accident happen. The same thing in the case of forests and rivers.
What If the Mt. Fuji explodes…?
Japan is being situated in a very delicate area. 4 major plates of the crust of the earth gather around Japan. There is no such country like this. This is why there are many earthquakes in Japan. If the Mt. Fuji should explode, it will be a trigger to start the major change of the nature---the change of Earth’s major crusts. If 3 big explosions take place, they will surely fasten such a big change. So this is why we are doing our major prayers at the Mt. Fuji when we can. This is why we are conducting our divine ceremonies with visitors and friends from outside of Japan.
It is the mission of us humans to keep our lives for the next generation.
Our Mother Earth is alive. We humans are its children. It is important, therefore, to let all the living creatures live. Let them live. It may be more true to the fact if we say that we are being lived on the Earth. We have to keep our lives. We have to do it to make a heaven, or a new Earth. We need to keep our lives for the next generation.
It is up to you, each person, to change this world.
We are living here daily on this planet Earth. What do we need if we want to change this world? It is up to each action and deed of each person. If you try to change the world, I am sure that it will change. It is not the psychic being that can change the world. It is you, an ordinary person, married or single. Please pray from the bottom of your heart. Pray for the people who you think are important for you. If you do so, it will be a big power eventually. We still have a plenty of time for it. Please do it. I beg you to pray.
