Yoshimaru HIGA
Born on January 27, 1960. Shaman in Okinawa, Japan---called [kaminchu] in a local language. He holds sacred ceremonies and prayers trying to convey divine revelations he often receives. He has a deep faith in local prophecies of his ancestors.

Fuji, Japan together with Don Alejandro Cirilo Oxlaj, the 13th Generation Quiche Mayan High Priest. On that occasion, awarded the crest of Kukulcan, the creator god of Maya.

March, 2006---moved to Okinawa to live and started ritual prayers together with her husband.
June, 2006---participated in [Summer Solstice Festival] at Yomitanson Village, Okinawa, Japan with her husband and presented prayers.
September, 2006---participated in [Rainbow Festival] at the Hakusan Mountain, Toyama, Japan and presented ritual prayers and songs with her husband.
September, 2007---registerd her marrying to Yoshimaru Higa at the government office.
October, 2007---held the wedding ceremony at the Taikokumirokutaisha Shrine where Yoshimaru Higa is officially regarded as [kaminchu], namely shrine’s top shaman.
